  • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHace m\u00e1s de <\/span>40 a\u00f1os<\/span>, <\/span>Patricia Hern\u00e1ndez <\/span>dej\u00f3 su hogar en <\/span>Tulcingo de Valle, Puebla,<\/span> en busca de un mejor futuro en <\/span>Nueva York<\/span>. Desde sus humildes inicios en f\u00e1bricas de costura, nunca dej\u00f3 de extra\u00f1ar su tierra. Con el deseo de mantener vivas las tradiciones mexicanas, en 1994 organiz\u00f3 el primer <\/span>Mexican Day Parade<\/span> junto a su esposo, <\/span>Mariano Hern\u00e1ndez<\/span>. Lo que comenz\u00f3 con un pu\u00f1ado de paisanos bailando al son del mariachi, hoy re\u00fane a m\u00e1s de <\/span>300 mil personas<\/span>, genera millones de interacciones en redes sociales y cuenta con cobertura en medios nacionales e internacionales desde Manhattan, consolid\u00e1ndose como el evento m\u00e1s grande de la Independencia de M\u00e9xico en el extranjero.<\/span>

    A pesar de los desaf\u00edos, <\/span>Patricia y Mariano<\/span> han dedicado su vida a este desfile, recibiendo reconocimientos a nivel nacional e internacional.<\/span>

    <\/span>The Mexican Day Parade<\/span> es el triunfo de lo imposible: un hogar lejos de casa, construido por migrantes, para migrantes. No es solo una fiesta. Es un s\u00edmbolo de unidad, identidad y orgullo migrante. Es la prueba de que M\u00e9xico sigue vivo en cada uno de nosotros, aunque estemos lejos.
